The official Reykjavik Gay pride 2010 song, Dáinn úr ást, is out, written by Örlygur Smári and Friðrik Ómar and performed by Friðrik Ómar who one of Iceland´s most beloved gay artist. Friðrik Ómar has worked with many of the most succesful artists in Iceland, participated in many popular music shows in Iceland, worked with some of Iceland’s best known singers and fronted several bands. Friðrik has recorded two successful albums that reached gold status and one that was a certified platinum album. Friðrik Ómar is the other half of the duo Euroband which represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008.
