For 20 years the HIV Organization of Iceland has been supporting people diagnosed with HIV. This has been the main goal since the foundation of the organization December 5th 1988 as well as be on the front line in educating the general public and raise the awareness on HIV in general.
Since it´s foundation HIV-Iceland has offered education and preventive work to schools and other groups that seek information on HIV. It´s hard to put value on the preventive work done by the organisation and other non-profit organizations fighting HIV around the world. But it´s definitely something to appreciate and thank for.
