Gay Pride ticket center has opened in IÐA shop on Lækjargata 2 (city center). Event tickets, VIP passes and Gay Pride T-shirts are available at the Gay Pride Center which is open every day from 11 am to 8 pm.
The Reykjavik Gay Pride festival kicks off August 4th with the opening of the official Gay Pride Club at Queer Cafe Trúnó on Laugavegur 22. The Gay Pride Opening Ceremony takes place at the University Theater starting 8 pm with handfull of LGBT artists performing. On Friday variety of events are organised around town including classical concert at Harpa Concert Hall, Boat cruise and boys only dance at Barbara. Saturday marks the event highlight as usual with the colourful parade and outdoor concert in Reykjavik´s city center. Saturday night the girls will have the opportunity to dance the night away at Club Square (Hafnarstræti 20) while the rest of us can join the Gay Pride party at Barbara.
