Queer Cafe Truno and Club Barbara are to be united into single gay bar/club as of early February. Both venues are located on Laugavegur 22 and the united venue will continue to do so. Barbara has occupied second and third floor on Laugavegur 22 while Cafe Truno has been serving the more quiet audience during the day and early evenings on the ground floor. The new venue will have it´s home on the ground floor on Laugavegur 22. According to owners afternoon and early evenings will stay true to the spirit of Truno with Barbara taking over after midnight.
New Gay Venue to be opened
A new Gay venue is also about to be opened on Hverfisgata 46 (city center) which also hosts The Boys Only Club (Strákaklúbburinn okkar). The opening night is February 4th.
Gayice.is has very limited information about the soon to be opened venue but we´ll be posting updates as soon as we know more.
