"Outside the ring" is the name of the Friðrik Ómar's fifth solo album released November 1st. Friðrik Ómar (b. 1981) is one of Iceland´s best known gay singer and performer. He has kept himself very active all his carrier and by the age of 18 he had already released two solo albums.
He has worked with many of Iceland´s best know artists and musicians but his biggest performance was probably in 2008 when he represented Iceland singing "This is my life" with Regina Ósk (and the Euroband) at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008. Since his participation in Eurovision Song contest he has been busy performing for Eurovision fans across Europe. Check out the first single from the newly released album, "Outside the ring".
