History walk, Queer films, exhibitions, concerts, gay cruise and parade, it´s all part of the Reykjavik Gay Pride 2013. The program this year is packed with events of all kinds with handfull of Off-Venue events taking place around the city as well offering guests multiple entertainment to enjoy. The biggest of those off venue events is without a doubt Iceland Drag Competition which is probably Iceland´s most entertaining competition to watch.
Reykjavik Gay Pride starts August 6th and this will be the fifteenth festival to take place in the world´s northernmost capital, Reykjavik. Since first held the event has been growing to be one of Iceland´s biggest festivals attracting huge number of guests from Iceland and abroad. Gay Pride is an unquestionably important event for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Iceland, promoting visibility and courage and provides the LGBT community with a platform to manifest pure pride before our fellow citizens and the world.
