The Reykjavik Bear event will take place from 2-5 September 2021. You can join the full event or just join any or all of the parties.
All parties are MEN ONLY (trans or cis) and the venue for the Saturday party is wheelchair accessible.
The first party is actually The Humpday Social on September 1st. Not part of RVK BEAR but early arrivals are welcome to join the gays.
Opening party, Thursday 2. September 2021.
It’s time to mingle with the bears! Come down to get a drink, get to meet bears from around the world and get your party group going! while you’re here, grab your goodie bag, your event pass and give a Covid friendly elbow bump to all the local bears organizing the event.
The party will open at 7:30 pm at Húrra bar at the ground floor of Tryggvagata 22.
Due to current Covid-19 restrictions all bars have to close at 11pm and be empty by 12 am.
Chill Party, Friday 3. September 2021
We usually do a Top-off party on Friday and get very frisky. But due to the Covid pandemic we can’t be too frisky. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have a great time. Our very own DJ Mighty Bear will make sure we have the right music vibes!

RVKBear Main Party, Saturday 4. September 2021
The Saturday Main party of Reykjavik Bear! One last party with entertainment and great music! The party will be at Iðusalir event hall right smack in the middle of town! We start the night with our great friend Dj Kris from the UK getting the night underway! Rumor has it that we will have a drag show during the evening before our local celebrity bear and famed radio host, DJ Siggi Gunnars takes over and kicks the party into high gear!
The party will open at 7:30 at Iðusalir event hall on the third floor of Lækjargata 2a.

Reykjavik Bear is run by the cubs of Bears on Ice and is a natural continuation of the festival which ran for 15 years. Our only goal is to make a beartastic event to unite all bears and bear enthusiasts of the world to celebrate our community. The event consists of three parties, a trip to the world famous Blue Lagoon, a day trip to the scenic Golden Circle and a farewell brunch.
