Bangsafélagið is an association for bears and their friends. Its role includes increasing the visibility of bears in the community, raising awareness of issues such as body image, and organising the annual bear festival Reykjavík Bear. The association has also hosted a wide range of events throughout the year, and one of its most summery gatherings is a barbecue held by the outdoor grill in Laugardalur, on the path between Laugardalsvöllur stadium and the Reykjavík Botanic Garden. On Saturday, June 20, we’re hosting a hot dog barbecue in Laugardalur. Bangsafélagið will provide hot dogs with all the dressings, sides and non-alcoholic drinks. Feel free to BYOB!
The fee is 1,000 ISK for non-members and free for Bangsafélagið members. You can also become a member at the event.
