BEARS ON ICE is just around the corner. This is the 7th year the event takes place in the world´s northernmost capital. The four day event has become an important part of the Icelandic gay scene where bears and friends are to take over the small and friendly gay scene.
The event kick´s off Thursday night at the Queer Center (Laugavegur 3) with BEARS ON ICE Welcome party and opening of Carl Bavin-Flaste's quirky and playful photography exhibition, Intimation. Among other events during the weekend is a Golden Circle sight seeing tour, Scruff & MSC party at club Faktory (Smiðjustígur 6), visit to the world famous Blue lagoon and Sunday brunch. Saturday night club Barbara (Laugavegur 22) will host a Star Struck Midnight with Dancing bears, Eurovision star Friðrik Ómar and Jógvan Hansen and Iceland Drag Queen Jennifer Hudson Obama to perform.
