  • KiKi


    Club Kiki is the only Queer Club in Reykjavik. It is located on Laugavegur 22, the queerest corner in Reykjavik, where many of Reykjavik´s best known gay club have had its home in the past. Kiki offers good music, fun atmo and nice crowd.  Kiki is open Fridays and Saturdays from 11 pm to 4.30 am.

  • Gaukurinn


    Gaukurinn one of Reykjavik’s numerous gay friendly bars, it’s a live music venue and bar, situated in downtown Reykjavík.
    They also host LGBT+ events such as the monthly Drag-Súgur drag and variety shows, main party for Bears on Ice 2016 and queer themed events organized by Whotever Iceland, parties that break the norms.

  • Queer Center


    The Queer Center is open Thursday evenings from  from 20:00 to 23:00. Good place to meet and mingle. Office is open every day from 1 pm - 5 pm. Samtökin ‘78The National Queer Organization, is an interest and an activist group. The organisation’s goal is for lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual and asexual and / or transsexual or intersex persons to be visible and recognised and enjoy their rights to the fullest in Icelandic society.

    Samtökin ‘78 run a community centre in downtown Reykjavík, located on Suðurgata 3 and open for all. Open house on Thursday evenings, with a varied programme of events advertised on the organisation’s website; Other queer groups and organisations also meet there at different times listed here: social events. We try to include all of these on our event calendar
