There is a great line of artists from Iceland and around the world to perform at Reykjavik Gay Pride in August and the event will be more glamorous than ever. Among visit performers are The New York based pop-rock band Betty which is internationally known for its L-Word theme song. Betty is originally from Washington DC, formed by activists Elizabeth Ziff, Alyson Palmer and Amy Ziff with guitarist Tony Salvatore and drummer Mino Gori to join the band later.
Zoe Lyons is a well known stand up comedian from UK will be coming for Reykjavik Gay Pride to perform at Harpa Concert Hall. Zoe created a huge buzz on the comedy circuit in 2004 when she won the 'Nivea Funny Women Award 2004' and reached the finals of 'Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny Award' in the same year. She hosts a monthly gay friendly night at Brighton Komedia and is definitely something to looking forward to during Reykjavik Pride.

Reykjavik Gay Pride has become one of the biggest festivals in Iceland with almost one third of Icelanders showing up for the main event, the Saturday gay parade and outdoor concert.
