The annual Pink Party: Masquerade Ball will be held at the Iðnó Theatre on February 10th

The Pink Party is without a doubt the most glamorous LGBTQI+ event of the season as they say in their promo.

"Guests are encouraged to be as outrageous as they’re comfortable with when it comes to dressing up and, keeping with the theme wear some kind of mask, anything goes! The party aims to nurture a variety of queer expressions where people should feel free to be themselves.

The wonderful Dj Siggi Gunnars will keep us dancing and members of the local Drag variety act, Drag-Súgur will entertain. The fabulous Jómbi will host and a fortune will be spent on sound and lighting to transform the Iðnó Theater into a nightclub.

There will be a makeup station for those who need a splash of glitter and a first drink is included for those who show up before midnight. Doors open at 10:30pm and guests are encouraged to be early."

Tickets are on presale here: Pink Party

We were at the 2017 party and caught some of the entertainment on camera and here are some exclusive clips.

Jonathan Duffy was host, from Drag-Súgur we had Aurora Borealis, Wonda Starr, Turner Straight and Russel Brund and the sisters Sísý Ey sang some of their hits.

The party is one of the highlight of the smallest most northern pride festival Rainbow Reykjavík held for the seventh time February 8th-11tj.
