VERA is a community for queer women and non-binary people in Iceland. They started in 2019 and have been organizing different events for that community.
Their next event is a walk and picnic on Monday, May 29th, starting at Perlan Parking Lot at 2pm and ending at Nauthólsvík for Picnic.

"Please join us on a walk and picnic on Monday, May 29th, to kick off our first event of the year! VERA is a community for queer women and non-binary people. We will meet at the Perlan parking lot at 1400 and walk through Öskjuhlíð forest, then down to Nauthólsvík beach for the picnic! Please bring a snack to share, and feel free to bring swimming gear if you’d like to take a swim. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
If you would like to join for the picnic only that should start around 1500 at Nauthólsvík, parking is available at the beach.
