The annual Reykjavík Bear weekend starts on Thursday when guests arrive from all over the world to socialize, do some sightseeing and party of course. All parties are open to locals guys and visitors. Tickets sold in the reykjavikbear.is shop and at the door. You can also join in the Welcome party on Thursday, free entrance. And don't forget the Humpday Social on Wednesday which is a separate monthly guys only event that has been running for over five years now.
Thursday Welcome Party
It’s time to meet and mingle with the bears! Come down and get a drink, get to meet bears from around the world and get your party group going! The party will open at 8 pm at Pedersen svítan, Ingólfsstræti 2a.
Friday Top-off! Party!
Join us for a Top-Off Party at Gaukurinn for all bears, cubs, big boys, furry boys, their friends and fans. All guys, cis, trans or genderqueer, ages 20+ are welcome. DJ Neo Scott from Madrid and our own Mighty Bear keep the mood steamy into the night.
The party will open at 21:00 at Gaukurinn Bar on the second floor of Tryggvagata 22.
Reykjavik Bear Club night
The Reykjavík Bear Saturday club night! One last party with entertaintment and great music! The party will be at Sunset Bar at The Reykjavik EDITION in the heart of the city! A fantastic underground bar that is perfect for the bears to get down and party!
The party will open at 21:00 at Sunset Bar at The Reykjavik EDITION on Austurbakki 2.

Reykjavík Bear 2023
Starting Thursday 31st of August, Reykjavík Bear will welcome about one hundred bears from all over the world for a weekend of fun, excursions, spas, and more!
Reykjavik Bear was founded in 2019, following in the footsteps of the long-running Bears on Ice that ran from 2005 to 2019. There was no option but to keep up the traditions!
On Thursday, all of our guests will meet at the beautiful rooftop bar Petersen Svítan for our Welcome Party. The beautiful views from atop the historical Gamla Bío building, including our famous rainbow street, make the perfect backdrop as the bears meet for the first time.
Then on Friday, the Bears go on a road trip! Hopping on two tour buses, Reykjavík Bear guests will explore the famous Golden Circle of Iceland. Our first stop is Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site, where the bears will explore the geology and history of Iceland. On the next stop, after discovering the picturesque Geysir hot spring area, our bears will get a delicious lunch and continue getting to know each other. Then we will head for our last stop: Gullfoss, to admire in awe the beautiful waters of this world-famous waterfall.
After the excursion, our guests get a rest back in Reykjavík before the party really starts! Our legendary Friday Top-Off Party* takes place at Gaukurinn, where the beats of our very own DJ Mighty Bear will open the evening. The DJ Neo Scott from Madrid will get the mood even intimate with his steamy sets! Whether they want to take off their shirt, bring their favorite fetish gear, or just be themselves, the bears will get frisky through the night! Rumor has it there will be a secret show on stage…
The bears will recuperate from their Friday shenanigans with a relaxing dip in the Blue Lagoon on Saturday morning! There, they will be able to spill the tea about the previous night and relax in the beautiful waters of the Lagoon.
On Saturday evening, the place to be for bears and admirers will be the Sunset Club! Located in the basement of the EDITION hotel, Sunset will host the Reykjavik Bear Club Night*, where DJ Joff, coming all the way from Paris, will make sure to put everyone on the dance floor with his commissioned DJ set!
What goes best after a Saturday night full of dancing? A brunch, of course! On Sunday, at Jómfrúin, the bears will enjoy one last moment of conviviality, debrief their weekend, and bid farewell to Reykjavik Bear 2023.
And for those who didn’t have enough yet, for the first time ever, the bears had the option to add a trip to the Sky Lagoon on Sunday afternoon. That limited group will get one last change to soak in the geothermal waters of Iceland, before finishing the weekend.
The city promises to be full of hot, hairy, burly men! And we cannot wait to see that.
