The performing arts choir Viðlag invites you to the wedding of the year! Bjartmar and Arnar are finally tying the knot, and you’re invited—along with their colorful family and vibrant friends.
"Við erum hér" (We Are Here) is a story about love, mischief, and the awkward moments that define Icelandic weddings—where family ties are complicated, friends have a strong backbone, and one of the grooms is a full-on Bridezilla.
"Við erum hér" is a brand-new Icelandic musical comedy, featuring songs from both classic and contemporary musicals with freshly written Icelandic lyrics.
Viðlag has earned a strong reputation over the years as a brilliant addition to Iceland’s choral and performing arts scene. They have staged new musicals and choir performances, drawing inspiration from the American Glee club tradition—where singing, acting, and dancing come together to tell beautiful and diverse stories.
