Since BEARS ON ICE started in 2005 the event the event has supported the local LGBT community. This year BEARS ON ICE proudly supports HIV Iceland by ISK 300.000 ($3000) donation to the organization. HIV-Ísland was formed December 5th 1988 and has played a key role in providing education, social help and support in Iceland. The Organization runs a small Community Center in Reykjavik, provides counselling, free condoms and runs free educational programs for individuals, schools and local businesses.

FAB Party, Reykjavik´s hottest men only party, strikes again with FAB XMAS Party, December 15th at Ægisgarður.  FAB´s simple mission is to spice up to the local gay scene by creating, fun and friendly space for gay, bi and trans men.

The Hump Day Social is a monthly social event for gay men to meet up, a positive space for gay men to mingle and raise a glass with each other. The location changes each month but coming up events are October 18th at Skúli Craft Bar (Austurstraeti), November 15th and December 6th. Tom of Finland is the artist name of Finnish Touko Laaksonen. He signed his erotic work “Tom” and when his drawings were first published in 1957, now world-famous “Tom of Finland” was born.

The annual bear weekend in Reykjavik, BEARS ON ICE will kick off for the 13th time August 31st and for four days bears and friends will once again take over Reykjavik´s gay scene.

Reykjavik Pride is within sight and we´re all getting more and more excited as it gets closer to it. Reykjavik Pride weekend kicks off Tuesday August 8th and finishes Sunday, August 13. Due to constructions in the city center, around Lækjargata and Arnarhóll the route of Reykjavik Pride Parade has been changed from previous years.
