It´s hard to imagine that when the first parade took place in 1999 it would grow from a few people participating and around 1.500 people showing up for the event, to almost one fourth of the country coming to  the event, showing support to the LGBT community, friends and families. This year over 30 floats took part in the parade, most of them bringing joyful message to the public and a few reminding our fellow citizens that work is still to be done and we still need to keep our eyes open and fight prejudice.
