The first queer-pride held in Húsavík will be on the weekend of 28th - 30th of July along with other festivities named Mærudagar. The parade starts at 2 pm on Saturday 29th of July followed by entertainment, music, a barbecue and a get-together for everyone.

It will start on Friday evening where we will come together and make signs for the march through Húsavík. The parade starts at 2 pm on Saturday (29th of July).
At the end of the march there will be entertainment, music, a barbeque and a get-together for everyone.
We encourage groups; the municipal council of Norðurþing, co-workers, friend groups, organizations and so on, to walk the parade together with some kind of theme."
