Once again Gay Pride weekend is coming to an end. After four days of fun some of us will probably need the coming up week to recover. Sleeping is simply not an option when Reykjavik Gay Pride is full on. Every seat was taken at the University Theater at the Opening Ceremony were handful of artist performed.

The Program Guide for Reykjavik Gay Pride is out. The Program Guide includes information about the event and performing artist in english. It is also possible to get a free copy in most convinient stores, tourist information centers, hotels, restaurants and bars. The Pride Center will open at Laugavegur 28 (main shopping-street) Saturday July 18th where you can buy tickets, t-shirts and VIP passes. Opening hours are from 1 pm to 6 pm all.  Reykjavik Gay Pride openin ceremony is Thursday July 6th at the University of Iceland Movie Theater.

Next week (August 5th-9th) is full of adventures and long hours of fun. Gay Pride weekend kicks off with an early start Wednesday August 5th with Reykjavik's most entertaining competition, the Icelandic Drag Contest which takes place at the Icelandic Opera.

The biggest benefit dance for Reykjavik Gay Pride this year will be at club NASA Saturday 4th of July.  Like many years before NASA & Paul Oscar support Reykjavik Gay Pride by hosting a benefit dance for the event. All box office income goes to Reykjavik Gay Pride.
