Reykjavik Pride is within sight and we´re all getting more and more excited as it gets closer to it. Reykjavik Pride weekend kicks off Tuesday August 8th and finishes Sunday, August 13. Due to constructions in the city center, around Lækjargata and Arnarhóll the route of Reykjavik Pride Parade has been changed from previous years.

Singer and songrwiter Bjartmar Thordarson has released his first music video, Hollow, the first single from his forthcoming EP album Deliria. Bjartmar is nothing new to music and has a long list of appearances including Iceland´s selection for Eurovision, Reykjavik Pride and numerous musicals to name a few. His album Deliria is expected to be released later this year.

Bistro Boy has just released his latest single, Walk Away and is teaming up with singer, performer and gay icon Páll Óskar (also known internationally as Paul Oscar).

Following the successful men only party last December there´s another Men Only party one coming up under the name “FAB”. FAB Party organizers are not new to organising parties and have been involved in some of Iceland´s most successful LGBT events. FAB party simple mission, according to organisers, is to add more diversity to the local gay scene and to create safe, fun and friendly space for gay, bi and trans men.
